Once approved by council, the Lansdowne Master Plan, in conjunction with existing OCP/CCAP policies, will be the seminal document used to guide redevelopment of the site through future rezoning and development permit applications.

Once We Have Approval

With approval of the OCP Amendment and adoption of the Master Land Use Plan, individual sites will be brought forward for rezoning, where architectural design, urban design and the associated public amenity will be presented to the public and reviewed by council.

The Phasing Plan

The redevelopment of Lansdowne will not happen overnight, it will occur in phases over time. Initial phases will see residential buildings and public space constructed in the northeast corner of the existing parking lot. Next, small sections of the mall will be decommissioned and redeveloped in the form of mixed-use retails, office and residential buildings adjacent to No. 3 Road. Later phases of development will see the eventual demolition of the mall to allow for the construction of public spaces, more homes,
retail and office space.
